I'm cursed.

So I was hoping my next blog post was going to be announcing that Ranger Bar was going to be at Anime Expo to premiere the "new" Ranger Van and give to all the goods on what was going on. Well the ignition busted on the "new" Ranger Bar Van and cost me 250 bones. So after careful consideration I have to decide against it.

But don't worry I'm working on somethings in August in Sept for the "new" Ranger Bar Van. More on that soon.

I am at a loss for words.

Well I haven't updated in so long I should almost get a new blog. I have had some personel problems over the last year and kinda dissapeard from the internet altogether. But now Power Rangers is really in trouble and something needs to be done. And I feel getting back to the fandom will better for my health.
Reports are flying in that the show is cancelled and we know for sure production in New Zealand has shut down. Now over the last couple years consensus around the fandom had been that Disney had run Power Rangers into the ground.
Then out of nowhere comes RPM.
And really out of nowhere. No promotion, bad time slots. Weeks before the first episode aired it was still unsure if RPM was even real.
The premiere was out of this world.
And now 7 episodes in the show is still going strong. Really strong. You can literally feel the shot of adrenaline pumped into the fandom. Now I feel like I don't want Power Rangers to end more than ever.

I'm back for real this time, and I'm not going out without a fight.

I suck.

I know. No new blog updates in a long ass time. This guy isn't helping to save the Power Rangers!?!?!?! Well I have been trying to get ready for this.....

Its The First Entry and Everythings Changing.

When I first had the idea for this blog; it was going to be about my journey to get the directors cuts of the two Power Rangers movies released before the 20th anniversary.

Then I got to really thinking about why I started Ranger Bar and what I really wanted to accomplish.

Power Rangers has been on shaky ground the last couple of years. Ever since Disney took over the show they have only managed to pull off one great season. (and its not just because Tommy came back!) After the end of Operation Overdrive I really took notice to the lack of moral the fandom had. You mean it could get worse than Mystic Force? Most of us seem to be just watching out of obligation and making sure that Disney doesn't screw everything up.

Before the new season Jungle Fury even began, rumors started circulating that this might be the last season of Power Rangers. Some fans cried out in fear, another popular response was to just go ahead and end it. The show has been sucking lets just finally put it to rest. I see where people are coming from with that, but I feel it would be a waste.

After the end of Jungle Fury, Power Rangers is going to have over 650 episodes in the same continuity. It seems foolish to just throw that all away. Only one other show has more, Dr. Who, and its been on since the 60's! In a couple years we would beat that. Well maybe a few years with this 32 episode count. I'm getting off point....But Power Ranger isn't dead yet, the fandom may be bruised. But Power Rangers its still a household name and the toys are still selling like crazy. I got a Family Feud dvd game this Christmas. One of the questions was "Name a word or phrase that contains POWER". They asked a 100 people. The third most popular answer: Power Ranger.

How am I going to save the Power Rangers? Well I'm not sure yet. I'm not even sure it can be done. Disney is a giant and I am only one man, but I'll be damned if NBC's Knight Rider tv movie didn't inspire me."He told me that one man could make a diffrence, I was that man."- Micheal Knight.
